Here is a picture taken through Rachel using the Apogee 16E. The image
is a combination of images taken with R, G, and B filters (approximately
3 of each). At one minute per exposure. Each of the colors were average
combined using AIP4Win. The final color assignment and adjustments were
done in Photoshop CS2. Images were taken By Rollen, Bill Drilling, and
Paul Hoy on 1-14-07 durring the EAS Astrophoto group session.

Jupiter - taken 5/27/06 through 20" refractor, Rachel.
28 frames stacked. Exposure was 1/5 sec at 400 ASA, Canon 20Da.

The Whirlpool Galaxy - Taken on May 17, 2006 with Chabot
Space & Science Center 20" refractor, Rachel. It is a combo
of 4 pictures, 3 minutes each at ASA 1600 using a 6.3 focal reducer
on a Canon 20Da digital camera.

The Ring Nebula, Messier Object number 57, taken through
20" refractor, Rachel, Chabot Space & Science Center, 8/20/2005
with a Canon 20Da, five stacked images, each 2min 15 sec, at ASA 1600

M13 taken through Rachel (20" refractor). Best 24 of 30 - 30 second
photos taken using a Canon EOS 10D 7/23/05
The first is the Dumbbell nebula taken through a 8"
Celestron Shmidt Cass. Best 4 of 8 - 2 minute photos using a Canon EOS
10D. July 13, 2005

Combination of ~50 pictures taken at 4
, 9 , 45, and 90 sec at 800 ASA equiv. First picture I have taken using
Nellie, on 1/21/05 with a Canon 10. Higher magnification of same object
(below).

Orion Nebula - Taken on 11/13/04 through Leah, 8"
Clark Refractor using a Canon EOS 10D at ASA 200. Picture consists of
best 9 pics at 45 sec, 7 pics at 2 min, 3 pics at 6 min, and 1 pic at
10 min

Sunday, May 9, 2004 from Chabot Space & Science Center,
Oakland, CA. ISO 200, 60 sec exposure, F5.6, 300mm lens on the EOS 10D
so it's approximately 460mm 35mm equivilent. This is the best 2 of 5
combined.

Lunar image through 8" refractor, Leah, with
Canon 10D digital camera at prime focus for 1/10th sec.


This Moon pic was taken at Chabot Space & Science
Center on Oct 10, 2003 through a Celestron C-8, prime focus and a .68
focal reducer using a Canon EOS 10D with 100 ASA equivelent film speed,
1/350 shutter speed.

The taken on Feb 10, 2006 through Rachel; best 20 of
45 images (stacked) taken using the Canon EOS 20Da.

This image of Mars was taken on Nov 30,
2005 through Rachel 20" refractor. Best 15 of 20 images (stacked)
using a Canon EOS 20da..
