IC1805. Heart and Soul Nebulae. Backyard shot, total of 6 hours 50 minutes over two nights. Used [SII], Ha and [OIII] filters with Pentax 200mm f/4 medium format lens, connected to FLI IMG6303E camera. Was selected as NASA Astronomy Picture of the Day for August 10, 2005.

Soul Nebula Lbn667/IC1848. Backyard shot, total of 12 hours over three nights. Used [SII], Ha and [OIII] filters with Tak FSQ106 and FLI IMG6303E camera. Published in S&T (AUG 2005) and also on the front page of Sternwarte German Publication in late 2005.

M8 Lagoon. Shot at Fremont Peak and my backyard in Castro Valley, total of 4 hours 40 minutes over three nights. Used [SII], Ha and [OIII] filters with AP180EDT and FLI IMG6303E camera.

M16. Backyard shot, total of 5hours on July 3, 2005 (UTC July 4). Used [SII], Ha and [OIII] filters with AP180EDT and FLI CM10 camera. Was taking this image in the backyard while watching the Live NASA internet feed of Deep Impact striking Comet Tempel 1 supplied over the internet via my WIFI system.

M20 Trifid. Shot at Fremont Peak total of 4 hours 26 minutes over two nights. Used Ha, [OIII] and Blue filters with AP180EDT and FLI IMG6303E camera.

NGC281. Backyard shot, total of 10 hours over 3 nights from backyard in Castro Valley. Used [SII], Ha and [OIII] filters and AP180EDT with FLI IMG6303E camera.

NGC2174. Backyard shot, total of 7.5hours over two nights from backyard in Castro Valley. Used [SII], Ha and [OIII] filters and AP180EDT with FLI IMG6303E camera.

NGC7293. Helix Nebula. Shot at Fremont Peak total of 3 hours 15 minutes in one night. Used [NII] and [OIII] filters with AP155EDF and FLI IMG6303E camera. The wind was very strong and gusty that night: probably 20-25mph gusts. The AP1200 mount tracked beautifully despite the strong wind.
